The Other 5 Provinces of Bangkok
When we think of Bangkok, we tend to think of the city and the wider metropolitan area. It consists of five other provinces that offer a wide variety of rides and attractions that can satisfy the central areas of the capital, and a growing number of European airlines offering cheap flights to Bangkok, I decided to look what these places outside the downtown has to offer. Nonthaburi Nonthaburi is a central province which lies just north of downtown Bangkok. Then the area is highly urbanized, but still retains much of its history and culture. The museum and traditional Thai training center is built in traditional Thai style and has a showroom in detail the development of the medical profession in the area. Visitors should consult Khemaphirataram Rajaworawiharn Wat, and Montri TRAMOT house - the former home of the famous Buddhist musician. Samut Prakhan Home on the (new) Bangkok International Airport, Samut Prakhan is located on the coast. The area used to be the home for six forts built to defend the port of Siam, of which two (Phi and Phra Samut Your Chulachomkrao) still exist today. Erawan Museum (count of the religious history of the area) and the old Siam, the largest outdoor museum, also to see sights. Pathum Thani Pathum Thani is located north of the province, and is one of the largest outside of Bangkok for more than 1,500 square kilometers. It is often considered the most interesting attraction in the area, the Science Museum is noted for its attractive design and architecture and the interactive nature of its exposures. Pathum Thani is also home to Wat Chedi Hoi temple - also known as the Shell of the pagoda. Samut Sakhon Situated on the south-west of the area, Samut Sakhon was once a commercial port. There are still some sites that can be seen for as long as 400 years old temple, Wat Yai Chom Prasat, and the only channel of wind Khlong Khok Kham. Tours also can be taken from the area around the garden and flower gardens. Nakhon Pathom largest metropolitan area of Bangkok, Nakhon Pathom is home to a wealth of culture ranging from the kitchen to places of historical interest. One of them is the goal Sanam Chandra Palace, a small castle-like structure built by King Vajiravudh who has joined Silpakorn University. The province is also home to Thailands answer to Madame Tussauds - The Thai Human Pictures Museum.
